Portrait at Guinness Storehouse
I was really looking forward to our Sunday shoot with Amanda back in March for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is always a pleasure to work with confident people that own their unique personal style. Secondly, the Guinness Storehouse at St James Gate is a truly charismatic location. And lastly, I always look forward to shoots 🙂
As a portrait photographer my goal is always to capture a true reflection of my subject’s personality and character. Each person I get to work with interests me as an individual and I strive to produce images that reflect who they are.
Amanda stood out not only because of her gorgeous blue hair but more so because her personality is the warmest. Our shoot was very laid back and resembled a pleasant walk on an equally warm Sunday morning.
I have been at the Guinness Storehouse many times during the week but have never visited it at the weekends (lesson learned there). Did you know that the Storehouse is the number one tourist attraction in Ireland? Indeed, we were able to see for ourselves just how popular it really is. There were groups of tourists arriving on foot, in horse carriages, and double-decker buses from all ends. Beautiful Amanda was certainly not short of attention from the tourists who appeared to be delighted to sneak a peek of our shoot.
Below is a selection of some of the images from our shoot with Amanda. If you like my work and would like to take part in a portrait session, then do drop me a line now.
