Winter Portrait Photo Shoot
Outside photo shoot in the winter are not an easy task. Indeed, working in the cold can be challenging for both the model and the photographer. The cold weather lately and the bare trees outside somehow reminded me of a portrait photo shoot I did a few years ago. It was back in December 2013 and it was one of my first portrait shoots ever.
I was over in Vilnius visiting family at Christmas. The grandparents were entertaining the children, so off I went with a friend to an abandoned mill in the forest not too far from their house. It was a very atypical winter, not a snowflake in sight, windy and cold. A stark difference to the winter just gone that I talked about in my last post.
Hats off to Lina, who was so brave to do the shoot in such light clothing in the cold of the winter. (I seem to be presenting Lina with very difficult ‘ideas’, as you may have recognised her from the ‘Lakeside Photo Shoot’ where she was in the water throughout the shoot (in fact, we both were).
Please feel free to drop me a line if you would like to cooperate on a photo shoot together. I love hearing from you.
