Winter Portrait Session in Botanic Gardens
Keeping up with a weekly blog is a great way to stay busy. It certainly keeps me on my toes. As my recent two-week holiday to Lithuania set me back a few weeks, I’m still catching up on a few shoots done at the end of last year.
But I digress. This post is really about my shoot with the beautiful Rebecca in the Botanic Gardens in late December last year (i.e. last month).
You wouldn’t believe that the photos below were taken in the middle of Irish winter by looking at them. And indeed the day was rather mild for this time of year, especially compared to the kind of winter I just came back from (Please have a look at this snowy shoot to see what I’m referring to).
It was a real joy working with Rebecca, who charmed me from the very start. We discovered during our scroll around the Botanic Gardens that Rebecca and I have a very similar educational background (human rights and international relations) and it’s always a benefit when you can relate to a client. Rebecca is also hoping to start her own blog soon, which I will be sure to share here.
Below are a few of my favourite photos from our stroll in the Gardens. Please feel free to comment below and let me know what you think.
