Introducing a Mobile App




Transitioned from centralised, twice-weekly release cycles to continuous on demand deployments across a 12-engineer team.
Reduced major production incidents (from 12 - 15 per month to 2 - 6).
Implemented micro-frontend architecture, automated testing, and Azure-based monitoring to improve deployment velocity and root-cause diagnostics.
Removed release bottlenecks and reduced dependency driven delays to go-live and importantly unlocked pace of delivery.
Introduced UK/EU corporate mobile app to address persistent One -Time Pin (OTP) authentication failures and improve login security reliability.
Reduced OTP-related client service incidents from ~30 per month to 1 - 2 per month following rollout of in-app authentication.
Eliminated recurring engineering intervention required to troubleshoot vendor and browser-related OTP failures.
Shifted authentication strategy from SMS - based OTP dependency toward mobile-first secure approval architecture.
Achieved strong early adoption and positive client feedback, generating demand for expanded functionality (payment approvals, account viewing, fund transfers, FX features, news feeds).

Expanding the Corporate FX Proposition (£2bn+ revenue)

Objective: Part of a multi-year programme to expand into the UK corporate banking market, scaling current accounts toward competitive parity and introducing features including FX margin payments, BACS payroll, bulk uploads, and card capabilities and more.
Objective: Evolving a high-performing FX product into an end-to-end treasury solution by introducing automated Market Orders, Rate Watch, Forward Strips, and leveraging cross-propositional integrations to drive upsell and retention.
